How can I make an appointment?

You can email us or go to this link to schedule in our studio, phone call or zoom!

Where are you located?

Elora Collective is based out of Birmingham, Alabama - but we work with couples nationwide!

When do I need to order wedding invitations?

It all depends on the print process you want to use! Typically we work on invitations 4-6 months before your wedding. If you’re sending save the dates, It can be up to a year in advance. If you're wanting letterpress or engraving, please allow more time to work on your invites!

You can also read our blog post here for a detailed timeline and checklist for wedding stationery!

I don’t have my guest list finalized, do I need to wait to schedule an appointment?

Nope! We can use a rough estimate for quoting purposes. A final number will be needed when we send to print.

How does your process work?

Great question! If you’re local to Birmingham, Alabama, you’re welcome to make an appointment at our studio. We can flip through books, samples, etc. OR we can hop on a phone call or zoom to talk all the details. We will then send an itemized quote to you based off your selections. A deposit will lock you into our calendar and then we start designing!

Will I see a proof?

Yes! After the deposit is made, we start working on your proof(s). It is a digital proof so there might be slight color variations but overall it allows you to really get an idea before it’s printed!

How many edits do I receive?

You may receive 1-2 initial designs based off what we discuss with unlimited edits. We want you to love your invitations, so this is included in your design cost.

How long does an order take to print?

It depends on what print process you choose! Flat-print takes around 5-7 business days. Letterpress and engraving can take anywhere between 3-5 weeks. Remember, this is only printing times - this doesn’t include design and shipping.

Digital addressing - what is it and do you offer it?

We do offer digital addressing, and it's where we print your recipient addresses on the envelopes instead of someone handwriting them. It is the most popular option, especially for wedding invitations. You will send us your list in an excel format (we can send you our template - don’t worry) and we will match the addressing to your invitation suite! Easy, beautiful AND cost-effective!

What are the typical costs?

The cost truly depends on each client and the print process chosen. We charge a flat design fee with save the dates and wedding invitations. Everything is priced à la carte so we build your stationery suite to what you want/need. A suite can range anywhere from $3-20 each.

Does Elora offer day-of wedding items?

We sure do! Place cards, menus, signage, programs, koozies, cups, napkins - basically anything printed!

I have a family friend that does calligraphy… can I include their work on my invitation?

Absolutely!! We love including special touches to every suite. Whether it’s artwork, calligraphy, etc. we’d love to help bring it to life! We also have calligraphers that we work with regularly if you don’t know anyone.
